Camp Blaze

jawsCamp Blaze is a nonprofit organization committed to maximizing women’s involvement in the fire service through education, networking, advocacy, and policy development.The mission of Blaze is to develop, support, and implement an annual camp for qualified young women to learn about the fire service and to have a great time while they’re at it.



Young women will learn, among many other things:

  • Rappelling
  • Using self-contained breathing apparatus
  • Search and rescue
  • Aerial ladder climbing
  • Teamwork

Women & Fire 2015 – DEADLINE EXTENDED!

Camp Blaze is currently hosting an event called Women & Fire, a weekend dedicated to to female firefighters.
Dates: September 19th and 20th
Location: Sno #4 Training Center, Snohomish, WA
Cost: $200

Lodging for out-of-town participants is available at  The Inn at Snohomish.

You must be Firefighter I certified to register.
Registration must be completed before August 20th, 2015  September 11th, 2015.
